Awesome!
1 correction, it holds four armatures. It is very nice looking and the foam inside is a better foam than any other I have seen. It works nicely because with two cases it allows me to have a case for my 19T stuff and a case for my mod stuff, and the packs for that class are in the same box as the motors. Also an important factor, is the BLING.

I just left the Reedy 1st Day of practice and I believe Rob said those were HPI springs. I had to leave before they went out to try the spring combination, but I will see him tomorrow and see if they worked.

The rear ones are HPI, but the front are Corally. Don't hold your breath, those guys are trying all sorts of spring combos.

Default RDX vs. Assassin Suspenion Design? are they that different? or identical??????

hello all.....

I wanted to know if there is a huge difference or if any,
the suspension design on the RDX is same as the Assassin????

I had the Assassin last year and got rid of it.....

I know the drivetrain is different, but what about the
suspension geometry/design????? they appear to look
exactly the same........

please provide input......thank you

Default Assassin's Direct Drive more efficient than RDX's?????

also, it seems that the Assassins' Direct Drive set up would be a lot more efficient than the RDX's Drive Train.....
since the belt has LESS gears to go through????
.....if i'm wrong, please explain.....

The RDX has larger pulleys and there for has a more effecient drivetrain. More belt wrap around the pulleys.

Default more friction?

doesn't that mean more friction? since the pulleys' are bigger and more belt is wrapped around it?????

The Rear Dif in the RDX is verry light, compered to the assassin But I think the assassin drirect drive is verry effiecient. Because you only have one belt. But the rdx drives so much better, and is verry easy to handle.

WellI am no expert but I'll try to answer this. With the pulley's being larger, there is more belt wrap and that would notmally lead to more friction. But since the larger pulley's allow for more belt wrap, you can run the belts much looser than you would normally be able too.

Plus with larger pulley's, the belt does not have as sharp of a bend as if the pulley's were smaller in diameter.

The question I have is are the pulley's smaller on the Assassign? I never had one so i don't know. But I can see the direct drive Assissagn being slightly more effecient than the RDX because of the single belt. I just don't think the weight distribution with the motor so far back was too good.

In its base design the Assissin DD IS definate more efficient, but as mentioned before there is the lighte diff for the RDX.
But the major difference is that the RDX's handling is better and easier to drive (consistent that is) at a lot of tracks, as opposed to the Assassins DD design with its motor at the left rear which CAN (doesn't have to) create a car which is slightly harder to drive.
So If you've to make an easily made mistake it's efficincy just can't bring you the result you need.

Wel just keep in mind that all depends on the track, setup and the quality of a driver.

Especially for mod the RDX is AWESOME.
For spec or stock it depends, the fastest lap would probably go to the Assassin DD, but if the overall result would....
