Just wanted to know what the difference between the US carpet version, one-diff version and the front diff version was. I assume that the latter 2 only have the diffs as the changes?

There is only ONE US Spec kit and that is the 00167 which is for Carpet Racing. The Standard kit contains the one-way.
Just choose depending on what you run the most, weather it is asphalt or carpet and then what you like to drive with. If you won't use the one-way ever, then get the UK kit. If you mainly race carpet then get the US Carpet Spec.

king pins? I highly doubt it........... unless you mean hinge pins.

nope... the RDX uses a unique kingpin setup. it threads into the c-hub, with a smooth portion that goes into the steering block.
i highly recommend the aluminum steering blocks, as they are stronger, plus they have bearings in them where the kingpins ride, makes for the smoothest, effortless steering action, i think...

I'm looking at getting the rdx. my questions are:
1. what parts will i need to go racing with? (consumables and options)
2. do other springs fit on the shocks? (what do most people use?)
3. what version should i get if i race only outdoors on larg open tracks with some tight technical turns (asphalt with foams, concrete with rubbers)
4. any issues with the car? (common breakages, problems)

2) The corally ones work fine. Most springs aren't a large enough diameter.
3) 00166 if you like a one-way, 00166UK if you prefer double diffs
4) no major problems
