Default One-way diff ???

Just a ? regarding the front one-way diff. There are currently 2 outdrives:

1) COR79159 Lightweight One way outdrives
2) COR79169 One way outdrives

Is the material use for both the same? Which one will last longer? Whats the weight difference? What comes standard in COR79167 Front One way diff.

Thanks for all future replies

If you buy the One-way seperately it comes with 79169 outdrives which are steel. The lightweight ones are aluminum and come included with the 00166 kit. The standard outdrives, 79169 would be longer lasting.

Hey there. One question to you all RDX owners.

Is there any same kind of problems with rear diff thrust bearing like T1 fk -05?

www.corallyusa.com has updates for all the products. The power case comes 3 different ways.

1) holds up to 12 battery packs
2) holds up to 8 motors, 8 arms and 2 parts assortment cases
3) holds up to 4 motors, 4 arms, 1 parts case and 6 batteries

Depends how old of a kit you have. The original first 20 or 30 kits we had did have a Thrust problem. Those kits were all sold back in January pretty much. If you have gotten one recently you should not have a problem.

If you call CorallyUSA they can mail out some replacement thrust bearings for FREE. You must have the silver ones. The optional CERAMIC thrust bearings are coming in as well. All the thrust bearings in stock have the brass shield on them.

Default RDX ???

Need some more help..

Everytime I accelerate the car goes to the left which makes it very difficult to drive. Drive train is free and bearings as well, but I did notice one of the front one way bearings in the front diff making a clicking noise when I try to spin the wheels on its own, but the wheel still spins freely same as the otherside. I did swap the front lightweight outdrives to see if I can isolate the problem but is still clicking on the same side. Any fix on this? Would this be the problem then?

Would driveshaft bones on the rear cause this problem to happen? The front driveshafts are new as I just replaced them hoping to solve the problem, but the driveshaft bones in the rear have a lot of play on hole where the coupler pin is inserted due to wear.

Couple of ideas:

1 make sure you don't have any bent hinge pins.. that arms drop freely without shocks attached.

2 chassis plate is not loose or has taken a tweak set. to check set chassis on perfectly;y flat surface and see if it "rocks" back and forth. loosen the top plate screws so chassis plate can relax and the tighten so chassis is flat on surface.

3: down stop screws and set correctly.. lift car from from front and see if both wheels leave the ground at the same time if not adjust correctly (down stop screws) do the same for the rear (make sure you do this with sway bar one if any and sway bar off.

4: missing hex nut pin check to see if you have all hex drive pins in place and no one thats broken.

5: CVD pins and dogbone cushions in place .

6: rear diff too tight : pull diff and make sure proper function and that its not locked up.. typically the thrust bearing is th culprit.. chuck and replace. reset diff according to manual.

7: bent wheel or stripped hex in huib.. check these

8: Tire coming off rim (check and reglue) if foam make sure tire is not lifting or huge chunks missing.

9: call 911

Default Pulling left

It could be something as easy as a wheel rubbing ...some of them have little room and when the bend easy like the rp's do they can rub.My oneway is gritty and doesnt turn free but cant feel it on the track.
