Help me out with the track width stuff here.
The best I can tell, by default (on a US Spec kit) the rear is 190mm and the front is 180mm. Is that correct? Are you guys using the toe shims to space out the front? If so, how many (and what size) does it take to get the front out to 190mm? Why would a car come different between the front and the rear, when having these two even is supposedly one of the key tuning parameters on a car. Is it okay to use the narrow wheel hexes in the rear to shorten the width so it's even with the front while waiting for front spacers?

Hi guys,
Just made an update the downloadable SetupMaster program which automatically saves the setup data to a text .dat file in the /data directory under the install location, and this file can be reloaded later to pre-default all the settings, so if you only made a small change to your setup, you don't have to re-key everything!!
Can be downloaded by following SetupMaster link in my signature as before.
Cheers
Andy

You should be able to put just 2mm shims in the rear to get toe in and be fine. Especially if you have the narrow hexes. You should safely be able to put 2mm of shims in the front end and make width.
For foam tires the offsets are different between JACO and other brands such as PARMA. You will have to double check it.

Diff Help
I'm having a hard time with my diffs in the car. After a rebuild, I only get about 4 runs out of the diff before it starts getting gritty and nasty. I have ceramic balls, I sand to drive rings with 400 grit to get 'em smooth and I've been using some associated diff lube. What's the deal? I'm assuming its the diff lube. Help.

Reassemble slowly..... DO NOT overtighten like other diffs and back off half a turn. Doesn't work that way. I would also recommend having 6 of the beveled washers in there for finer increments on adjustment.
All else fails bring them in and I'll build them. haha.
