The used tires weren't that old....anybody experience this before...oh ya, running 17.5 blinky on indoor carpet.

Appreciate any experience out there...
mine did this too this too! felt like my geardiff locked up? I checked and did everything to figure out what it was! I checked to see if it was camber, changed to springs, checking play in wheel axels, but it still gave me issues? I solved mine by widening the rear by 6mm and using ball diff instead of geardiff.

Default Parts question

Can you use the new 417X motor mount on the old 417 chassis?

Are the holes the same?

Thanks Greg G

or to make it a little bit more distinct, what's the advantage of running a small spur vs a bigger spur (or vice-versa) when running the same FDR?
I find that a larger spur gives you more bottom-end, where a smaller spur (keeping the same FDR) gives you more top speed. But you probably cannot feel the difference between 111T and 113T.

so isn't it advisable to get the smaller ones because BL motors have a lot torque compared to brushed motors?

I use it to fine-tune the way my car drives. If I am at a small track with low speeds, then I will use a larger spur to get the bottom-end power, and at high speed tracks, I will focus on the top speed from a smaller spur.
