Servo seems A-OK. Going to swap it out just because. |
How are your tyres? Check to see if they are even. If the fronts have developed an inner ring, it can cause your car to bob and weave
|
Crispy, check your diff & make sure it is tight, too me it sounds like a loose rear diff
check the bearings make sure they are all smooth and lastly make sure you have the right servo adapter for the servo you are using |
Depends on surface you're running on but sounds to me you have a combo of loose diff and mostly incorrect tires in rear
In most cases running a grippier set in rear is what you want |
Fairly new set of S-Grips on the rear, seem balanced. Swapped the servo, no difference. Rebuilt the shocks.
Here's the odd thing, I returned the front to 1 to 2 degrees of toe OUT and it seemed to help stabilize the car in a straight line. I thought that toe out would make it wander more? BTW, how do I tighten the diff on this car? |
Have a M06. Noticed there were aluminum rear uprights for 0, 1 & 2 deg rear uprights pt# 54178, 54327 & 54267. Does anybody know if or what the part numbers are for plastic ones are?

Does anyone knoe wehn the M06R will be released in the US?
This is the red anodized version of the mo6 with the hop ups also for high traction carpet do i want a ball or gear diff with a stock silver can 27t? |
January I think

Gear diff use thicker viscosity than what is already used Ball diff take off rt rear suspension and pull out dog bone inside you see a 1.5mm hex screw ,tighten to desired effect |
I have a question has anyone reversed the rear hub carriers to take the rear tow in out out of the rear of the car. Less rear tow in would take the on power push my car has. Or should i go with S grip tire on all four corners.

I think Johnsons have more rpm and Mabuchi have more torque.
53689 is the 540-J Johnson motor 7435035 is the 540-SH Mabuchi motor |
TamiyaUSA is showing the M06 Pro kit as discontinued. I guess the M06-R is going to replace it.
Slight over sight on Tamiya's behalf.. no one outside of Japan will want to show up to a track with a chrome and red chassis. Its pretty hideous looking. |

We have this one Japanese fellow that shows up at our local track. He works at the local Subaru factory. He has an M03/M05 that he runs in our Mini class. It is an all chrome chassis... What's really neat is the he has a Subaru 360 body for it. |
