For those looking for a good b.h. screw to secure a transponder to the TC6 integrated mount, the part number is 4673.

I threw together a quick page with various information, some of it will be specific to our track, but most should be applicable to anyone with or looking for a TC6.

If there is something I have missed in the pages 1-50 of this thread, or elsewhere, that should be added, send me a PM or note it here and ill do my best to get it added.

The middle motor mounting hole is for using spurs from other brands. I think the two spur gear shaft shims in the kit are in case a aftermarket spur is slightly thinner than TC6 spurs.

low traction setup
Hi guys i need some guidance on a low traction carpet/gym floor setup. I got my tc6 last week ran it with the book set up and fought the car the whole night. The surface is a somewhat rubberized slick gym floor and i know that tires are the real kicker here but i need someone to point me in the right direction for this type of driving on setup. Sorry for the newb question but iam still a fairly new to the onroad scene and any advice would help, oh an yes i have search high and low for an online setup but with little luck. Thank you

Associated TC6 Ceramic Ball Bearing Kit
Yes we now have in stock and ready to ship our Team Associated TC6 Ceramic Ball Bearing kit - we are glad that Associated decided to keep the 6x10mm ball bearing configuration as they are much lighter than the 5x10mm or 5x11mm bearings some other touring cars use, and are even lighter when using our ceramic bearings. Associated did change the 4x8mm bearing in the TC6 to a 4x8mm Flanged bearing and we have made this change in our ball bearing kit as well. $89.99 for a complete kit with FREE shipping worldwide!
Thanks to all of our RC Tech fans who pre-ordered our TC6 Ceramic Bearing kit!

Started my build Friday night and hoping to complete it by Saturday night to race on Sunday. I ran into a little problem, one of the holes on the bulkhead (one that is mounted to the chassis) is drilled and taped to big, you can push and pull the 3mm screw in and out of the hole. The second thing was one of the CVA coupler hole was not drilled straight, when I tighten the set screw on the CVA cross pin, it binds on the CVA Bone.
The rest of the build went together just fine, looking forward to racing the NEW car!!!

In the meanwhile, you can work around those two issues. Only one of my bulkheads had the funny hole as well, but about 5mm up it had normal 3mm threads. I used a longer 3x8mm counter sunk screw with a fair bit of locktite and it's holding fine.
For the one CVA coupler that bound with the setscrew, I just didn't tighten it but I CA'd the snap ring.
AE has done some nice work on this ride. Much tigher than the TC5... no ball cup slop, no center pulley slop. In terms of performance, it feels like it has more grip and it's easier to push hard and stay on the edge. I picked up 3 seconds in a 6 minute run over my TC5 the first night out with it.

If you have exactly kit seyup, and nothing is binding in the steering, no locked bearing etc. the car should be easily drivable, not perfect, but you shouldn't have to fight it.
