Anyone that pushes a car past its limits, knows its the only way to LEARN its limits. Parts will get broken. Doesnt mean that driver cant wheel. Some people baby their way around the track... others wheel it for all its worth. Who is who to judge?

Personally i think the Tc6 looks great for out an of the box setup. Makes me want one...

Whats your opinion on what would make the TC6 even better. Maybe on par with the Xray.

If you consider that the Tc6 is a second generation belt car... and its doing as well as it is... one might ask what would help XRAY be on par with the Tc6? XRAY has been tweaking some form of belt car chassis for a LONG time now... :o

Double bell crank. Cleaner look. Non bulkhead mounted suspension blocks.

Wish it included Aluminum spacers instead of the plastic stuff. You can buy some for the 12r5, but should be included.

Aluminum spacers are not that big of a deal, I buy those things in different colors most of the time anyway. I have got enough for a few cars. Everybody else it maybe a bigger deal.

Has anyone bent the TC6 arm mount bolts or deformed the plastic arm mounts using the 12R5 spacers? With the mounts being spaced so far off the bulkheads now it looks like these parts would get damaged with a hit on a wheel since there's nothing supporting the lower part of the arm mount which is where the hinge pin is installed so the arm mount assembly is acting like a lever if the car gets T-boned on a wheel. An aluminum arm mount spacer that's the same size and shape as the stock plastic spacers to better support the plastic arm mount would be a nice option part.

Man you people must really wreck your cars! I have never bent an arm mount screw and would never even give a second thought about those.

BTW if you slip the clips in from the side you have the top and bottom part of the holder supported.

Whenever I used aluminum spacers on the arm mounts on my TC5 I'd constantly bend screws with the slightest wall taps. I went back to the plastic spacers and never bent another screw. I'm sticking to the plastic spacers on the TC6..

:flaming:

I apologize if this has already be addressed. What is the best way to get replacement parts for manufacturer defects? I usually get my kits from my LHS and they take care of these things, but I went online this time. I as others have a few things on my TC6 that need to be replaced. I loved my TC5 and am still excited to get the TC6 on the track.

I built my TC6 in an afternoon. A very easy build and I had no issues with anything. Every part was tapped, all screws were there. Thank you AE for updating your touring car. I foolishly decided to jump ship at the beginning of the season to an unnamed other brand that recently discontinued their TC platform. I will be buying another TC6 in a few weeks for another class.

After a few practice runs the setup I got from the website worked well. I changed a few things(Camber Length, Rear Toe.) It is dialed and feels great. Great kit, and the price is great!
