Alright guys....what front bumper are you guys using?

Rotax125 05-10-2011 12:08 AM

Mines the std one from the kit.. Yes its because the body hits the front bar so it sits forward abit to much.. Ive got it to sit right now, but it still is abit short.

what are you guys finding to be a good spur/pinion combo for mod 6.5 turn brushless, and also is the diff that came with the car holding up?

I'm currently using a 6.5 too, as for fdr i run at about 8.2 (115/28 64dp)

Stock ball diff is really durable, i can run about 20 packs out of it before a rebuild....

The Parma T2 bumper is the best for sure...

It fits once you trim out the section for the transponder and a little bit off the side edges with a knife.

On kevin H new setup he has the front arm mounts shimmed out 3.5mm and the shocks on the inside hole. What effect does this have? since i have never seen a setup with the shocks on the inside and shimmed that far. Thanks

A wider front track should reduce the amount of steering. Looking at the rest of the setup (front springs much stiffer than rear, front oil much thicker than rear) I'm guessing that reducing steering was a priority. These settings would also help to reduce grip-roll.

The change of shock position is probably to account for the wishbones moving outwards, although I guess you really need a hole half-way between A and B to get the shocks back where they would be with a narrower track width.

I've been tempted to space the TC6 out myself (both front and rear) as it runs at about 184mm out of the box. Has anyone else tried this?

Helo,

I can't find any info about that ...

Can I use the C.V. Universal Swing Shaft (For YOKOMO BD5); Model: SPR001-BD from spec-r for my TC6?

Regards
