I don't think I have ever figured out which arm mounts to use; Right now I have configured the car to use 0B rear and for the front FR 0b FF 3A. Sounds crazy but I think that is what Juho Levanen used in his setup I found on petitrc. Sorry going by memory right now.
For a small tight track, low traction; medium if ever at best is what I have now good? or am I out to lunch. recommendations? Is there a setup sheet on petitrc that is a good baseline? |
New TC6
Hi guys, is there much demand for the TC6 these days? I have a brand new one that the seal has been broken on the box but everything is there, no parts bags have been opened. Debating if I should build it or sell it to someone who may have more appreciation for this particular model and wants a brand new one which are near impossible to find in this model from my searching.
Thanks in advance for any info. |

Thanks in advance for any info. Sorry a joke for myself... that being said there should be lots of interest for a roller of some kind for either GT of CTA. A friend of mine still runs his TC5. I'd sell it for a rock bottom price; just my suggestion. |
Yes ,The TC6 is now the car of the POOR. :tire:

My tc6.1 keeps pulling to the left some times, Don't know what it is.
Is it because I have to glue the inserts on the front Hubs? |

I just picked up a gently used TC6.1 WC off here for my son. And without having to read through over 10K posts, can someone chime in with what to look for on this car?
Say for instance, things that break fairly easy and should get some replacement parts, or the shocks should be rebuilt like such, or watch the front diff for "fill in the blank". Any kind of heads-up would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Barry |
get some extra offset arm mounts, one pack of front arms and a couple packs of front caster blocks...that should be pretty solid to hold u on any breakages. but in general if the chassis isnt twisted and everything looks ok and feels solid then it's probably ok
|
Thanks!
The car looks new, not a single scratch on it anywhere. The guy threw some old wheels and tires on it, as well as a painted body that doesn't even look to be run yet, so hopefully it's solid. appreciate your reply! |

I second the bearing check. Pull the bearing out of your hubs and check them with a pen cap or something for smoothness. also maybe look at anything on the left side for bending or if a screw is loose, seriously. Just check to make sure all the screws through the chassis are snug.
Then maybe your tie-rod lengths, make sure you don't have any unwanted toe in/out on either side (to start). Then maybe look at the diffs. Good luck! |
Recently bought a tc6.1 for usgt, does anyone have a setup for this class? Thanks
