Nope they wont fit the yokomo springs are bigger in diameter, but not much,

Think I have a big enough pinion gear?

62t spur and 45t pinion for that glorious 2.75:1 FDR.

The Tamiya ones fit but you MUST use the Tamiya orings in the collars... the AE ones will not work. Also HPI spring cups..

I got some 55T 48P that look smaller than the pulleys! Got them back when they weren't making pinions bigger than high 30s...

RSD bladders and their range of springs and pistons are a worthy upgrade. Depending on the class you drive I would also go for a gear diff in front. To reduce slop in the suspension you can glue the inserts to the hubs and put in a grub screw from underneath.
Other than that the car is pretty awesome

RSD has normal and short springs for the TC6. Sorry to hear you wasted your money...
The slop in the new plastic sucks! After some months I ignored the slop and just drove it like they sell it. The car is not slower because of the slop. Still fast enough to beat the newest designs out there

true story a buddy of mine who is a better driver than me in my opinion, not his. has the new mi5 he set up my car ive been running the lay out, but not tc in like a year, i ran twice once in the third heat, and once in the main i was only .1 off oh his fast lap, and i was still learning, the car could use a bit more improvement but it was good for just throwing it down. its still very competitive

Anyone know of a source for aluminum steering knuckles for the TC6/TC5? Integy used to make a set, but they are discontinued. Bummer. One of mine got stripped out.

I've looked at Tower and on ebay. Maybe there's another source?

Thanks,

Scott

you could always drill the hole out and retap it with a bigger threaded screw, you could go to a 4/40 i think thats bigger than the 2.5 mm, it uses, or you could try some red lock tight, or even superglue, or a longer bolt and a nut on the bottom assuming it wont rub.

says "restock pending" ... maybe they're not discontinued after all?

I also wonder if the aluminum bends instead of breaking, wouldn't that be really hard to hold a tune?
