My TC6.1FT came today Along with all my RSD goodies! Woohoo!
Chassis, towers and bearing caps are the different parts.
If you order bearing caps, make sure to order 2x A and 2x B. I was under the impression that they came in pairs but they don't.

servo mounting
you got a direct link between the servo head and the steering axel, the servo took less space so you can fit receiver and combo more freely you can also use it to balance the electronics in order to be less concentrated in mid or rear part of the car.
the handling is really more predicable so you turn quicker using less steering ratio
good way to avoid understeering you can stay inside the corner and get full gaz faster
this is convenient for me maybe other driver will not like it but the reflex conversion is using the same way and got good result on high level so...
not difficult to modify too
try and let me know

I wonder why none of the team drivers tried this servo mod. The BD7 mount looks awesome on the TC6.

Let your chassis flex!
If you want your TC6 to have predictable handling, all the adjustments won't be as effective unless you get one of the heaviest component off the chassis so it can flex freely. Not clamping the battery down tight does not give it more flex. The weight of the battery prevents the chassis from flexing freely.

The other component is the servo. Mounting sideways has an advantage, but either ways, you need to float it. By floating, a single mounting point is used allowing free flexing under the servo area. We have a lot of racers using ours as well the Yokomo BD7 sideways mount.

Servo ?
I've got a new Savox sc-1256tg servo. Is this a good servo for my tc6.1 or should I look for something else? What servos and specs are you guys running?
