Maybe I didn't try hard enough but I saw no way to get to the motor screws!

Thanks,
Kane

Use the 3rd mounting screw hole as mentioned.

Is the 3rd mounting hole strong enough to hold up against a big crash? I had the same problems with not being able to adjust the gear mesh, but I was concerned that 3rd mounting hole would not be as strong as using two holes 180 degree apart.

The third hole is there for this reason and works fine.

Thanks for the response! I will have to look at my car tonight and see where this elusive 3rd mounting hole is! :)

What are the differences between the TC6.1 and the WE?

Narrower, thinner chassis, new shock towers, vertical ball stud bulkhead caps.

Where can I find the DCJ's for this car?

The Spec R BD5 shafts work fine as well. Just need different hexes.

Thanks guys. Do they make a big difference on how the car handles?

Actually the chassis is .25mm thicker than the standard chassis...

They do seem to help smooth out the corners a bit. Haven't tried them in the rear yet.

I stand corrected.

Is it just me or does anybody else realize how great it is to just have a car that already handles great out the box. Xray T4, Hotbodies TCXX and Yokomo BD7's are all out right now. All most of us AE guy have to do is replace the chassis on our TC6.1 and now have a a whole new Beast of a car that can beat all them over priced pieces of graphite.

I'm planing on updating my VTA TC6.1 with the new chassis since I already have the vertical ball stud/ bearing caps on it and buy a new TC6.1 WC to race in Stock.

If only AE would come out with a straight drop in set of DCJ 's and c hubs

Hi all

I know I'm a bit late to the party but I have joined the TC6 club.

Looking forward to getting to grips with it and will, I'm sure, be visiting here regularly for tips.
