The small bridge in front of where the steering post mounts and the small bridge just in front of the spur gear.

Like this?

I assume this increases flex and traction.

Yes, i liked just the front cut for carpet, seemed to keep the nose down in the corner better, on pavement cutting the rear seemed to help my car rotate better. Keep in mind there will be a large difference in how it effects your car depending on the rest of the setup, give it a try but i would recommend having an extra in case it doesn't fit your preference.

I think you mean TC6.1. My TC6 came with a rear ball diff.

Tower has the vertical ballstud mounts and shock towers if anybody is looking for them.

Indeed, good catch. I was typing and thinking at the same time

Sorry in advance if this is a lame question and I think the answer is yes but want to make sure before going any further on my TC6.1 build. Arm Mount Shims = FWD and/or RWD Mount Shims? This is my first on road car and want to make sure I start off right. TIA and thanks for all the other stuff I've picked up here.

At least Tower has them in stock on their website. I've been waiting for the new parts on the A Main website, and they simply say "search shows no product"

Has anyone tried the Zeppin Racing towers and bulkheads, and are they the same (in terms of geometry) to the Associated parts ?

Mike - no problem ;)

Has anyone got a chart of what combinations of arm mounts produce what levels of toe? Yes I know I can measure it but I am at work :( Stock setup on rear 0 dot fwd and 0 dot offset rear produces 2.5deg. So what does 0 dot offset on both produce? Any help would be much appreciated. ;)

RTFM

Yes arm mount shims, FWD(forward) RWD(rearward) for that end of the car, you would run the same in the front forward and front rearward, and possibly different ones in FWD and RWD in the rear to adjust rear toe, along with a combination of offset and standard arm mounts.

I use these for the shims, Associated #3617

Hopefully this is a more helpful answer than "RTFM"

If you run the same mounts fwd and rwd that would produce zero toe.

Again, hopefully a more useful answer than "RTFM"

Can anyone post a good setup for medium grip concrete track for the tc6.1? It might be in this thread but I don't have time to look through 400 pages of posts. It will be a VTA and 17.5 class for reference.

Hi guys,

I've recently purchased a TC6.1 and have run it several times. I have noticed that the arms are rubbing on the inside of the wheels. Does anyone else have this issue or have any idea what may be causing it as I can't seem to find the problem.

Same problem here.

It seems that the tires bend slightly under load when cornering.

Just locate the spots on the arms where the tire rubbed and sand them off a bit.
