Team Associated TC6 Thread
#5671
Hi guys!
I am a pretty experienced Nitro driver but I just entered the Electric class and bought a Team Associated TC6.1 car.
I have a question regarding the setup of the car.
According to the basic setup you should have 5mm Ride Height and 6mm Droop at the front and 5mm Droop at the rear.
If I use these settings with my Sweep 32 tyres (I don't know if different tyres have different diameter in the electric class ) then the droop screws almost touch the chassis and there is really small up-travel for the suspension.
If I lift the car the droop screws immediately touch the chassis.
Is this normal or I am doing something wrong?
Thanks a lot!

You don't check droop with tires on. You can also unmount your shocks for a better setting. The kit droop gauge is a bit unprecise, but it's OK if you use it for all the 4 sides

Dug around but could not find anything regarding this. Given the apparent planetary wide shortage of 6.1 Caster and Steering blocks, I wondered what would be required to run the TC6 blocks on a TC6.1 ? I'm sure I'm not alone, but again could not find anything. Thanks !

I always measure the droop without the tires, without the shocks and without the anti-roll bars.
I just mentioned the tires because if other tires have larger diameter then you can have 6mm droop, 5mm ride height but more up-travel on the suspension.
