Use the stock setup and run the arms as low as possible (low roll center) all the way around. Gearing will be determined by motor and size/layout of the track.
Start to raise the roll center as the grip level increases. this should get you started.

Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't lowering the arms on the chassis actually raise the roll center?

Lowering the inner hinge pins lowers the roll center.

Lowering the roll center = lowering the arm mounts = increasing the amount of roll (consider it "side bite")

You can take it to extremes, but I liked 0B all around to start with on low-bite asphalt (parking lots specifically). I also only ran about half a mm of droop until traction came up. The car won't "feel" fast but when I ran this I always had traction, which is better than getting loose all the time.

The kit set up for medium grip carpet is always a good starting point. I also like to just take the arm positions they use for high grip carpet (like the IIC) and lower the arms with the same angles to start with.

Has anyone had any issues with the spec r gear diffs? The blades on my tc6 fit a littl to tight on the diff outdrives, had to file a little to free them up.

I personally run 0B front/ 1B rear with 14.5/13.5 springs, but I like a lot of steering! 0B all around is also a decent starting spot on carpet - pretty easy to drive and usually makes enough traction. Stick with 4* caster blocks unless you like an aggressive car.

I had sand the plastic blades down a little bit. I just took some 400grit paper and sanded each side little by little, until they would slide into the outdrives without binding but without slop as well.

Worked fine... and they are holding up fine after two weekends of racing.

What exactly are you looking for? A starting point in regards to gearing and setup? Or a starting point in regards to what electronics/motor/ESC to buy?

Are you using the off-road t-nut to secure the thrust bolt?
