I appreciate the offer Ray. I have a new TCR 21.5 coming...
Nice, his motors are good. I ran an old TCR 21.5 in the buggy till I went 17.5

My son has one of his 17.5s in his Sakura. It's a rocket! Did an 11.4 lap on the latest layout. He's been making the Amains.

Good Job to your son. It's not very easy to make the A-main at any level.

Question: Does USGT makes there own 21.5T motors for the series?

Thanks. He is quite talented. Fun for dad to watch.

As for the motor. I believe they do, but not 100% certain. I believe RobK on here would know for sure.

I searched the companies who manufacture a 21.5T USGT Spec motor. I found that only Gravity RC makes motors for USGT.

Gravity RC item # GRC2000

Motiv is designed to comply with ROAR specifications. it seems like the difference between the Gravity and Motiv is that the Gravity has fixed Timming and the Motiv has adjustable Timming.

Gravity RC item # GRC2000
Motiv item # MOV40215

Those are completely different motors. I think you may have misinterpreted what STLNLST said. Gavity and Motive are the same company.

Unless they are selling the Ride Spec USGT tires, they are not legal according to the USVTA Rules. Here's the tire section from the rule book:

Are USGT tires directional? if so which way do they go? Or do you just bolt them on and send it?

Don't know if it matters, especially on carpet, but instinctively, I'd mount the pattern like on a real car.

I'm racing on cold treated asphalt (it sucked) but the guys at the track agreed the direction on the left was correct.
