I agree with this approach. Even if it was only a few months notice.

Agreed if you have a favorite motor then I would lobby that mfg to send that motor in to get approval. Also there was some talk of a ROAR having a 21.5 class at some point so it might be a good idea for them anyway.

I agree it shouldnt be an immediate implementation of the rule. Maybe give the rule until Sept 1st 2013 until it takes full effect. This IMO would be better then a Jan 1 2014 date because that date is in the middle of carpet season and the September date would most likely be before carpet season and towards the end of most asphalt seasons where its seasonal.

Very nice! I like the scale look of the paint jobs...and love the red pinstripe on the wheels! I might have to look into running some USGT.

Nice cars Kevin.

I run the turnigy trackstar 21.5 because it's inexpensive and seems to run good. I won't be buying a new motor to race my toy car unless the one i have breaks, and then i would rather buy another $36 motor that has worked great all winter.

Would someone post a picture of a correctly mounted HPI treaded tire. The HPI site shows them mounted two different ways.

LOL, I run them both directions, although there probably is a correct way.

Reason for me to run them in either direction is that I rotate my tires to maximize their lifespan. I know of a few others locally who do this, too.

I agree. Run them in both directions and rotate them on all four corners. I've heard some guys claim they grip one way better than the other but I've never noticed a difference. Just make sure when gluing that you have 2 running in each direction. I've seen a lot of directional tires glued on to the rims with 3 tires running one way and 1 running the other. Doh!

Yup and yup. We don't have hydroplaning concerns since we don't race in the rain.
