As someone who is fairly new to racing rc cars in general:
What initially drew me into usgt class was that it was faster than vta... I kinda saw it as a stepping stone to touring...
Well, that and the bodies were, well, pretty damn cool.
I loved the look of the vette's and ... I can't really remember any other real cars other than Caddy's and unrecognizable cars.
I think this is the real issue with this class that everyone is bichin' bout'. The Exotuck bodies have been allowed for quite a while it seems and they seem to have an advantage. But... They don't really reflect the "spirit" of scale racing IMHO.
I have been running a MS'Stang body and it seems to do pretty damn well. Although I admit, it doesn't really look a whole lot like a real mustang, I prefer it to any of the fantasy, prototype or supercar bodies. At least I have some Ford (r) stickers on it!
I've really been considering getting a tamiya gtr or mustang gt4 body. Those look awesome to me. Or maybe a PF FordGT body?
