The unique thing about the Viper body is how l-o-n-g that hood is! Very different than most. He put a different wing on his once he started running it. I don't know if that was for looks or different aerodynamics. http://www.indyhobbies.com/ViperHPIYellow.JPG http://www.indyhobbies.com/ViperGaryC.JPG |

Has anyone ever tired the Ferrari FXX body from tamiya? I was thinking about picking it up for USGT unless there was a Le Mans body that's still being produced

"Le Mans body" leaves many possibilities. Do you mean GT1, GT2, LMP1, LMP2, GTR, etc? The Tamiya Courage Advan LC70 (or something to that effect) looks very much like a current ALMS LMPC body. I am assuming that you mean more of a prototype body than a production-based body. At one time, Parma made a Panoz P675 body, but that's been a while. You can still get Nissan R390s made by Tamiya as well. I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of at the moment. I also assume that you're looking for a 190mm body.

Unless something changed, LMP1 type cars were not legal for USGT.
