Still think 100gr for any USGT type trophy race that is running tech is realistic. I wouldn't expect club racing to matter in this regard just like club races here don't weigh cars.
It looks like we are just about equal then.

This is the body from the photoshoot, using shoo-goo to hold the side wings on, stock wing hardware, no body foam. I would be all for a 90g or even 100g minimum as Mike suggested.

A minimum body weight with or without shoe goo ???
Any 60gram body with 30grams of shoe goo in the bumpers, will have a huge advantage against another 90gram body without shoe goo....

Shouldn't ghost single paint jobs be banned in USGT anyways? I thought the entire idea and spirit of USGT is to have a realistic looking car.

The problem is the word 'realistic'... What is realistic for one racer might not be realistic for the other, and to require a typical paint job from everybody will rub most racers the wrong way....Do we have to duplicate the cars we see on TV to be realistic ??? That might be too much for some racers to duplicate, and personally I prefer single full paint jobs with enough sponsored stickers all around: I can't stand flames all over with a trillion colors.....

I do believe that you would complain if they hung you with a new rope.

The spirit is to have realistic looking cars, and yes, realistic will vary from person to person, but under no reasonable interpretation could a SEE THROUGH, one color, NO DETAIL DECALS of any kind paint job be considered realistic.

Guess I would pass tech. Lol

I had a lot of complements on this body at the track. I had fun painting this body and racing something I could see. I think I will take having fun over a realistic paint job any day.

I don't think anyone would have issue with that paint job, it's the lack of detail stickers (headlights etc) that would be the issue.

why does it matter what any other racers car look like ? Does it effect your happiness to see a car without headlights? Obviously you have bigger issues to worry about if anyone’s body bothers you or what it looks like doesn’t fit you opinion. I have never looked at someone’s car and thought oh my god it doesn’t have head lights or a grill . When I’m at the track I’m just happy to be playing with my toys and to have a place to play with them .

Ahahah....Lack of stickers should make it a show car, not a race car....lol....
I also fault the companies for not making precut stickers that would encourage more people to use them: it takes me at least two hours to cut and paste them properly after painting, etc.....

Two hours????? How many stickers are you putting on your car? A lot of this translates into "We were all so happy that the realistic bodies have come back but we're really really lazy and dont actually want to have to put any time into it so lets just make it another spec touring class."
