Im bringing a measuring stick next race... if I show up

Since this is for a local series this particular tamiya wing is allowable. It’s actually less the 10mm cord just the end plates are big. I’ve seen others use it for usgt but when I run usgt I run a cut down tc wing.

57 deg. 2973 kv 23488 rpm 5.8 amps fantom f1r works
53 deg 2779kv 22019 rpm 5.6 amps trinity m2 new monster
I tried lower timing and higher timing and these settings seemed to be fastest if i know what i am doing
you mean the 3? I did not mark them down
The fhantom #s were closer like only 1-2 off
the trinity were 4-5 off on one like 2-3 on the other 2
Why?

I use a Motolyser to set mine up. Ideally, you want to raise the timing until the amp draw shoots up but there's no rise in KV or RPM. Then dial is back slightly. That usually puts you around mid 2 to 3 amps. Anything higher just generates heat.

monster max results
#1 55 deg 2743kv 21946rpm 5.9amps
#2 50deg 2550kv 20404rpm 3.9a 48-52-51
#3 53deg 2717kv 21743rpm 5.4 amps 51-56-52
#4 56deg 2924kv 23106rpm 7.7amps 54-59-55
which to run? 4 is fastest but poss too much heat? Diff btwn 2-3 ?
what do you guys think? when i ran the test at 3 amps rpm was way down at 18247 at 42 deg timing

I think you’re over way thinking it. Tell what might give you better results. Get on the motor thread for the motor you want to run, ask what timing to run. Most are set it and forget it. Run the gearing that the fastest guy that runs that motor at your local track runs.
Then drive the car. I mean drive, drive, drive. None of the work you’re doing will matter if you get marshaled a half dozen times during every race.
Now, if you are already at the little to no marshaling, then I still recommend the same process as listed above. If followed, you will be the guy people go to to copy set-up and gearing

I’ve spent all winter practice in less the ideal conditions. Had one goal, improve on my consistency. Looking like a good start. Have few changes to make before racing starts. But it’s looking like a good starting point. Now next goal is getting on to lead lap. Don’t care if I’m still last. Just get to the lead lap.
