Yes, this body is made from the same tough material.
The powers that be said once the body was in stock that it should be ok, so just waiting for the green light since it's in stock

Has anyone looked at the body list...its not on the list. Being the person that wrote the list I do not recall it ever being on the list of approved bodies. I could be wrong but looking at all the past revisions to the list I did not see where the Furai was ever on the actual list.

But it's been said over and over again... the body list does not matter, what matters is that the track allows a body. Most tracks allows any body- so long as it's not a sedan. I have been racing USGT/GT for years at a dozen different tracks around the US, never has a non-'approved' GT body ran by anyone else been turned away, which is fine by me.

If it was produced and re-released, but it wasn't due to some hurdles and wasn't listed thus the Pzero.

Everyone (well everyone I see at my track and judging by the comments on this website, many folks here)are racking their brains to come up with ways to grow participation in our wonderful hobby. As long as you have a body to cover up the cars guts I can't see anyone taking a hard stand against non-sanctioned bodies, in club racing at least. regionals, nationals, world's have their rules, and rules is rules on that stage. Many many clubbers will buy the new exotek body because it's beautiful and looks like it could have some interesting aero dynamics. I, for one, can't wait to get one, and no one at the track will mind it's not on a list because if I'm driving it'll be in the hands of corner marshal during most of the race anyways

Is there any constructive interactions in this USGT thread?
I got a question: Say you have 2 TC chassis, let's say a schumacher mi4 and a Serpent S411 eryx 3.5, you want to run VTA, would you run the older mi4 and maybe save the s411 for usgt, for when you get better at driving or would you focus on the newer car for VTA? I like the mi4 so much, it has always felt great, but the s411 has the alloy chassis and depending on what parts you're looking at it seems the s411 is more up to date but I don't like having to buy new blocks to change toe and track width etc. What you think?

The Pagani is a real car that's been modded for racing. If you want a vette, get the PF 190 that just came out.
It's not out of hand, you are just misinformed. Real car modded for racing, not a bespoke care that you can't get a street version of.

No One can keep up with the changes in real life "GT "racing.
If you watch A 12 or 24 hour race its The Prototypes, Vantages, Porsche, Corvettes and Ferraris.
Some of the other Races its Camaros, Porsche,Mustangs, Corvettes , Miatas and the Minis, Throw in some Vipers and Cadillacs .
I never get to see The German DTM , BritishTouring cars , Austrlian Super Cars so i dont know those cars are also in " GT "racing.
My point is if The PFM (not a real car) is there. The Daytona Corvette should be available.
At one of the tracks I race at Timewarp LITH. they allow the Banned cars . Nobody there Cares. They just want to Race and have fun for the Day.

Is there as much a noticeable difference in handling between a pfm10 and the new exotek offering? And honestly I couldn't care less what motor everybody else has (full disclosure I can't drive for shniz...this is all fairly new to me, so maybe I should just shut my mouth). What little practice I do have I have a theory that as long as my motor is in the ball park of the competitive guys I will have a chance, it's great to have a motor that's a tiny bit faster than another out the corner or top end but how many times have yiu seen the fast car blow a corner and the rock steady guy in 3rd sticks to his program and takes the W? It's going to be real depressing if I do eventually learn to drive ok and then realize it IS a motor/body game, I really want to believe tuning and gearing and old school racer tricks still have a place on the podium. I'd be interested to see what kinda laps last year's world champ could do with his car from 5 years ago, comparing it to his current setup, I'd be surprised if it's an appreciable gap...

You sound like joy to race with btw, I thought we were talking club racing, club racing should be a group of guys/gals racing what they have that Tuesday night or weekend day just to get some track time with other cars, and have fun, enjoy our toys. I think when you have so much money and time and energy tied up in something like an rc car/equipment/travel it's too easy to make it into a job of sorts. Just chill yall, theyre toys at the end of the day.
