ASM,
I've found the #3065 Food Grade belt dressing and this one: http://www.rmeuropean.com/Products/0...FRY2gQod7E8KMA
Have you tried them both, or do you prefer one over the other?

I believe that's the same one I use. I got mine from an auto parts store locally. If you look at the small print on the can in the picture you sent it says it "adds traction" LOL!

Hey Capt....I allowed Kyle to run his cause I wanted to see how it performed and with the mods he made to fit the TC7. Any advantage?...not sure, but it did look all so cool...

Not sure about the Classic

USGT 21.5 Tuning rotor rule Question

Are 21.5 motors with H/T rotors legal or are H/T rotors considered tuning rotors under the USGT rules ??????

Bob I have run one of the 200mm Ford GT on high grip track the body wasn't balanced it has very good steering g but the rear lacks grip with the wing that is included with the body. The wing that is included is only 1" wide at its cord IMHO not creating enough rear down force. That's in USGT 10mm wing up kick height. I have replaced the wing with a PF high downforce wing also the wing that is included with the body sits flat This body was designed for a WGT car they have 2" wide foam tires that generate more rear grip then touring car tires have. I took the body off that race day but with the wing replacement I will try the body again next week.

This week at 702 there were two 200 mm Ford GT's at the race. They seemed to handle very well.. but then again the drivers were two of the best at the track so that may have had something to do with it

The spec tyre seems to be out lasting its foam insert. Would it be possible to contact the manufacturer eg ride / gravity rc to address this?

Wait...

High grip asphalt is not the same as high grip black carpet.
I ran the Ford GT at Hobbytown Fresno and it is very grippy for asphalt . I didn't say the body is bad I said it lacked balance I'm going to run the body next week with more wing, also that was with a10mm USGT spec wing height.

The only ones that I noticed at the Classic last week were in WGT-R....none that I noticed in USGT.

The only time that I have seen the insert break down drastically before the tire has reached its end of life is when harsh chemicals were used on the tires or when the tire was mounted some super glue gets inside the tire and eats the inserts. What I have seen is that the insert starts to become "flatter" but at the same time the tire has become so swollen up from traction compound that it looks like a cycle tire that its very round....and when this happens Im not sure any insert would not have the same issue.
