Loved the on-power steering with the new oneway diff today
So I'm thinking I'd like to switch to the steel cvd bones....after 18 total runs the front cvd bones (aluminum) that came with my G+ are pooched, theres not much meat left for holding the joint pin I'm running about 80% of full lock and I'm not a board slapper so I think aluminum is just a bad material choice....what do you guys think ?
Hey also...I just noticed that in the parts listing I can get the aluminum cvd bones but not the steel ones Anyone have a part number for the steel bones ??

I prefer steel on the front too for that very reason. If you're running modified I think they're a must and the extra weight won't really be noticed.

I've broke a steel outdrive on a spool once, but the aluminum CVD was still perfect. I've brushed boards and bent steel CVDs before. If you could find a way to just not have the pin holes wear on the aluminum ones they would last forever.

Yeah, the only problem I've had is with the pin holes. The streach so bad so quick when you're running modified.
Thrust Bearing Lube
I'm curious what you guys are using for thrust bearing lube? What have you found works best? Anyone using standard silicone diff lube?

Randy or anybody who can answer, I have been messing around with KRs for mod sedan on a track thats about 180x80. These motors just seem to be so picky on the gearing. I can not to seem to get it to run right. What kind of final drive should I be looking at?

9 turn I'd go 29-30 pinion, 10 turn I'd go 30-31. 766 brushes
