One-way
If it took you 4 months, I should likely plan for more...he, he...
But "turn in and overall corner speed" both sound like a very worthwhile goals for me. Thanks.

Don't get me wrong, it was drivable from the start, but I'm just getting to be as fast as I was before I went to oneways. The way I used to make a lot of passes when I was running spools was to out run guys into the corner, brake so hard the car would damn near stand on it's nose and pitch it into the corners. Not exactly a finess style and hard on parts. So I decided I wanted to learn more finess and use skill rather than brute force to make passes. It's the exact opposite style I was used to.

my lhs just got new carpet from crc for there sedan track. What setup should i use on brand new carpet, running mod, on a tighter track. I was thinking to go as soft as a ashplat setup, should i go that soft.

Peter.. I believe the closest thing would be Orange fronts (35lbs) and white rears (30lbs).

hey bobby, nice job last weekend! Any idea on my above post? If anybody here runs airtronics, there super micro rx, i find it fits snug inbetween the servo and motor mount, so what would you use to secure completly, some cheap glue on the top??

Losi also makes a 40lb yellow spring, some guys at the Novak were running Losi yellow/Losi orange for the 40/35 stagger. Pretty stiff!
Not sure how close that is to the congos.

i just use servo tape to mount my rx between the servo and motor clamp.

pro3racer... Thanks! I would say you would not want to try anything too soft for your setup. If it's the same carpet that was used at Cleveland then it won't take long for the bite to come up, even at a club racing level. I would try my setup but without the rear sway bar and maybe white front springs and black rears. Thats a little softer and should get you hooked up until the track gets some bite.
From what i've heard, the congo yellows are right around 45lbs, the purples around 35, and blue around 25. The only reason we run the congos instead of orange/white is because it gives the car a better feel overall.
