Basically from numerous, pages of this thread. It will rock box stock. I think the main hop up to do is change to Ti Screws all around. Is this advisable?
Thanks

its advisable, but not really the 1 number hop-up, in my opinion... alum steering knucles are the number 1 hop-up.
From the box, i'd change the rear hubs becasue the off-set ones are more for carpet racing than asphalt, i'd get the standard ones with 1 degree toe to be able to add more toe-in in the rear.
2nd would be putting an extra bumper or brace on top (underneath the exsisting bumper)
Get a couple of tuning springs (red, blue and green)
Also, almost all XXX's users put their ESC's behind the motor.

Why do you suggest aluminum steering knuckles?

do aluminum n\knuckles weich thatmuch, and do they do any other good other than not being able to strip out. I've stripped out 2 knuckles, both grphite, and don't want to do it again. Also, what chassis improvement would be best for carpet racing, my car is graphite(old style), and with no aluminum parts. Should i upgrade my electronics, or go to my chassis.

well it depends..... first off what do u run for electronics?? and second off do u really want to spend the money on hop-up parts... on my tc3 ive had bad problems with the aluminum hop-up parts that end up bending and cause a tweak... but on a personal note i would stay with graphite, its strong and light and for a losi it wount break unless you really tire to break it..
just my 2 cents

I use aluminum pivot blocks and supports, and an aluminum steering rack and wheel hubs, but that's it, everything else is graphite or composite.
I would stay away from using suspension pieces made of aluminum, the graphite stuff works fine and is cheaper and in many cases lighter.

yea, i run a cyclone(i have a C2, don't won't, i'll send it in, pay 50 bucks, get a gt7(hopefully)). I have a nice servo, i need a new radio, i'm getting a new one, any ideas, and i need a new motor. Other than that, my batteries can last me till the summer. So, should i just buy tires, springs sets, traction sauce, shock oils, all the sets to tune stuff out, or should i just revamp my electronics, or spend some money on back-ups, and some aluminum, a one way, 3 ideas there.

get a M8 for your new radio.. its a very nice system, for motor stk binary from epic, and then springs, tire squace, ect.
#8111
you shouldnt need backup radio gear but its never hurts to have a back up... and now u know why i run two car lol
#8112
haha, a M8 might be a little too much money for me. Even though i just got a job. I'll have about 200 bucks for anew system, maybe if someone has a used M8, or a futaba high end, i don't really care about the system, as long as it's fm, and is synthsiszed. Maybe a xs3 would be good, how much is that?
#8113
I think The xs3 is about $230, my dad has it and really likes it.
