My xxxs g+ weighed about 51oz. Using gp3300, GT7, Futaba HRS receiver, JR 8417 servo, stock motor, 28mm foams, and a Losi Alfa body. That's with a personal transponder, too.... really all I have to lighten the car is the TiR screw kit. I'm guessing you save about .5oz with that. Also have a Trinity ceramic bearing set, but not sure if that really saves much weight at all... I flattened out some lead, and filled my belt cover with it (about .75oz of lead) put 1oz at the front of the chassis (.5 on each side of the tunnel, kinda...) and another .25oz on the left rear corner just infront of the outdrive.

The car is heavier than others, but I don't think it's all that bad. Like futureal said, electronics mean everything in terms of weight. Also, things like using minimal amounts of wire help. Also, if you can, an aluminum or titanium screw set really helps alot.

No he's not, he dropped Losi. Still running for Trinity though i think. People have said they've seen him running a TC3 now.

I think my weight was around 52.3 oz. with the foam tires on it, before I added stuff. I used a steel lower tunnel cover from KT Hobbies to add weight, it adds approximately .6 oz. over the stock piece, directly down the center of the chassis at the lowest point. Lemieux ran one of these when he was running for Losi.
I picked up one of those pieces as well.... for last year's Reedy, I added a quarter of an ounce to the car... But the KT Hobby's plate seems much nicer... not to mention the fact that it looks nice too... but only in the pits... since the car is never on its lid...LOL

I haven't had the chance to weigh my G+ yet though - BUT - is the weight with the personal transponder or without?

Yea, Paul is still with Trinity, he just has no chassis sponsor. He's running a TC3, but not for AE.

Nah, not yet. We haven't seen an AE shaft on a Losi chassis with Yokomo arms yet.

I wonder why he switched? I thought that he was happy with Losi since they were taking better car of him than Schumacher was (his words)

He hasn't actually said, but many of us over here (Wis/IL) think that he was just tired of going to tons of big races and wants to tone it down some..

He couldn't talk it over with Losi?? Quiting completely isn't toning it down. Now if he wants to go to a race who's going to foot the bill?

Hey guys Im not trying to pounce on anyone about anything but no one knows for sure why Paul left and lets not sit here and play Monday quarter back about it. This is how nasty rumors get started so just leave it at he left Losi and is playing with a TC3 now. Paul's a great guy so Im sure he has his reasons so until we hear them from him lets not start anything that can snowball and tarnish his good name....like the way the interent can do to people. When Paul resurfaces again the truth will come out and Im sure RCCA will be camping out at his front door waiting for the TRUTH............so we can all get the TRUTH according to Car Action

Aww come on Kevin, this is the internet, you're ruining it for the rest of us! We need to be able to gossip like this, otherwise what's the point? haha

See, I heard Lemieux is actually an alien! Or maybe a woman, I forgot which. But the point is, he might sign with Ferrari!
