I got installed the Blue aluminum Lower Center of Gravity motor mount for the XX4 and SW and that does a good job of allowing the motor to cool down. A heatsink would be a good combo to add to that.

Yep, that is it.

Works alot better than the clip on heatsinks.

Troy-

I should add that the 3mmx6mm Motor Screws will not fit. I had to go buy 3mmx8mm Motor Screws so that it fits properly

no..it is just like the XXX-S motor plate. same cutout and holes. it just has a 2mm gap beteween the front of the plate and the motor for air to get in front of the motor and there are 3 aluminum strips that comeout to support the motor and allow it to cool by dispating heat. It is not really needed but a guy at my track was running it with is Motor and says it helps with cooling. He also had the XX4\SW Outdrive Covers and the Shock aluminum supports and some other parts for the XX4\SW.

Yep, I retired the TC3 a long time ago. I did like the transponder mount well enough to use it on this car

For the heatsink that I have pictured, yes the motor does slide into the heatsink .
