I will soon. I wasn't 100% satisfied with my setup last time I was out, so I'll be trying a few things still. I'll post my setup soon though.

Traded my new T3 for one of these babies. Still new to onroad though. What is the *best* servo to run with this kit?

Traded?!? Insane! You came out of the deal a winner!

I would recommend the Futaba S9551:: http://www.gpdealera.com/cgi-bin/wga...pgm?I=FUTM0661

Had a run with the TCX at the end of a meeting today.

Have to agree; fantastic, best TC I've driven. Will be waiting to see the TC6 in the flesh first then make a decision about which to get. Until today the TCX wasn't in contention due to annoying HPI spares availability in the UK, but the car is so good I'll put up with that.

These are what you will need,

1. Spec-R gear diff for Tamiya 416x
2. Tamiya 416x front drive pulley
3. HB Cyclone TC front and rear drive belts
4. Tamiya 416x rear drive shafts
*For the rear drive shafts, you can also use our HB universal drive shaft (44mm) with plastic blades w/some dremel work on the drive cups on the gear diff.

I would suggest to start with #1000 diff lube.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.
Do you suggest the 170T front belt and 63T rear belt or... the 169T front and 62T rear? Do you need an entire 416 rear drive shaft or will the dogbone fit the TCX axle?

And do you suggest the 416 one-way pulley or diff pulley?

The 170T and 63T, and I'm pretty sure the bone fits the HB stuff. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Tamiya fans borrowing the axles from my car at one point.

I tend to agree, but out of curiosity, what is it about the TCX that is so much better than the T3?
