I usually start with 1000cst. Its a good medium starting point for the rear. I go as low as 700 and as high as 2000 on carpet. For he front, 500k cst or cleaning puffy works good.

a great brand like hpi (HB) must solve this availability problem. This is not acceptable!

The three magic words:

Availability Availability Availability

But guys, we must not forget of the recent Japanese crisis, as this would/may still have an effect on production.

Just keep up the good work at HB guys, because this car is sublime.....I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Joven,

the narrow chassis is a narrower chassis as the item name states. It is 89mm width and the cutout is very similar to the stock main chassis. This is the chassis that all HB factory team drivers used at the reedy race and ETS final round in Germany.

Thanks,

Dog Bone and moraccio,

Yes we definitely take this seriously and try to solve it as soon as possible. We have been already working on this problem very hard to solve it and the situation is getting better and better every month.

Thanks for your great support.
Best regards,

Hiro Kasuya

That's great they are coming out with new parts.
I've had my TCX for about 6-7 months now & I have only broken a front arm, bent a front bone and recently a rear arm. I have always been lucky to find parts through my local HobbyTown, A main hobbies, TQRcracing, Speedtechrc or the HK shops. I bought extra parts that I really have not used yet. The car is built well & strong. I've put through gone through some crazy hits crashes & the car survived. Yes I admit when you try to find parts you have to farm out to different shops, but that's no big deal. Parts are out there.

I really love my tcx too and I do not want change it with another car, but honestly here in Italy the parts availability has worsened during last months...
I seriously hope the situation will change.
Best Regards!

I mean I'm sure it does work - they wouldn't have been produced if they didn't do something good

but really - they must look like swiss cheese
