I talked to Arrowmax a few weeks ago about this. These are a normal 44mm like the standard Hotbodies DCJ. They will NOT work with the stock TCX spool. You need to use the locked oneway for them to work.

The HB DCJ's and the solid axle/one way from HB or the Spec R gear diff eliminate about 99% of the chatter when turning left or right. The driveshafts are NOT rebuildable so make sure you grease what you can and clean them frequently.

for me the High Traction arms were a perfect fit.
from what I measured, everything lined up perfect.
there is about. .05mm more plastic where the Chub drops in, just took out a shim I had there...but no modification needed.
I only changed the front arms but rears measured accurately also.

before I broke at least twice a day...changed to this haven't broke one. They can take a some abuse.

1.5 block in the front
2.5 block in the rear.
1.5 mm shim under all pivot blocks.

front
.75 toe out
outer camber link 1mm shim
inner camber link 2mm
1mm bump steer shim.
top #2 shock position (from inside)
lower outer shock position
wheelbase from outer front has 1.5mm
ride height = 5mm
droop = 2mm over ride height

Rear
outer camber link 0 shims
inner camber link 2mm
top #3 shock position(from inside)-
lower outer shock position
wheelbase from inner rear has 1.5mm
ride height = 5.25mm
droop = 2.5mm over ride height

shock oil = 40 front / 35 rear
springs = HPI pink dot in front/ HPI silver dot in rear
no sway bars

gotta play with the springs.
if car pushes slightly play with the rear pivot block shims.

can't hurt to try.
It's been working for me quite well.

Is there a gear diff for the rear of the TCX that is just drop in and drive with the stock set up? No modifications needed at all.

yes, the TCX spec-r diff is a straight drop in for the TCX...just need to get a set of blades for the dogbones because there is a little wiggle in the outdrives - nothing too horrible that is performance robbing, just need for a better fit

Sorry if this has already been asked, but if you run the spec r gear diff in the front, does it still take 46mm bones, or is it 44mm?

I have been using 44mm. 46mm driveshafts might get stuck in the outdrives.

Quick question- are TCX and Cyclone diff's interchangeable? I tried a quick search and didn't find the answer. I want to try the gear diff up front on my WCE Cyclone. Thanks for the help.
