My car looks good The chassis works really good guys, the car has more steering, more grip and is a lot more stable. Hopefully it works well at TITC next week

It is a custom made gear diff that my friend has made for me

On another note, im pretty happy with my car, i changed A LOT yesterday, even had the dremel out But finally got a consistant fast car that does everything it should do. The LTC-R body made a big differance.

No, that chassis is like the 416fx by smokem. More flex at the front and rear extremes of the car , from what I've heard, it's an excellent upgrade.....

The overall stiffness of both chassis is quite similar, just very different flex characteristics between the two chassis.

That's right Ant. The flex is more concentrated at the front and rear ends of the car. But the TCX-FX is slightly softer overall when compared to the standard HB chassis.

by the way, it is clear that the yoko's works very well...so they are doing right with this one!

To be honest, the lightweight frame with holes for flex was first proposed by Hot Bodies at the TITC 2010, was later revised by Yoko...

Hey guys does anyone know if the arms of the cyclone are any stonger than the ones on the tcx. I have been braking alot of them with some pretty small hits on the boards. Or any stonger one's out there

I had the same problem at one particular track. I think its down to the amount of thread on the axle sticking out past the wheel nut. Try either nylock nuts or cutting off some thread.

Do you mean the Pro4 arms? If so yes, the Pro4 arms are more durable. The Cyclone arms are the same as the TCX.

Just keep in mind, that you might have to make setup changes when using the stiffer arms.

One thing very important about arms breaking...

Be sure you are using right length screws to fix dampers to lower arms... If you are using +2mm screws (like I was, believing it could prevent some unscrewing...) you are in fact weakening the arm...

So when you hit something, the screw will "help" to break the arm...
