psst...I hope that there are some pictures from the world's of the "trick" stuff they've got on their cars. Some cool parts are hidden in plain sight. Hint: what's really stiff, has a lot more layers of carbon fiber and less resin but looks exactly like the stock peice? Okay, there's other stuff, but still hehe

Mine is getting a custom 3mm chassis, new 3mm counter sunk top deck and counter sunk gearbox cases to try and prevent the tweek problems with the car. The chassis and top deck are been sent off on monday and the gearbox's are going to the machine shop at the end of next week. Rick

Dont worry i will do.

Went racing again with it tonight and gave the car a second chance. First run it was rubbish, second run made a few adjustments and the car was far better but catch a corner and it tweeked. 3rd run and it was great but again suffering from tweek. Think having a thicker top deck that is counter sunk, a thicker chassis along with the counter sunk gearbox's shud almost totally stop all the tweek. Rick

I hear ya on the tweek I have tried the counter sunk upper deck and still had problems... I have a new Kai chassis that I have yet to prep...that should keep the tweek down a bit... who knows

Default clear gearbox covers

Does anybody know where I can score a set of those clear blue gearbox covers? Feel free to PM me if you've got any leads.

TIA

The car is in itself very good, the drive train is very smooth and i now have it working exactly how i want it to work on carpet but the tweek is a huge problem!

Looked at counter sinking the standard top deck but there is not much meat around the bulkhead screw holes so 3mm it will be all the way baby! I have even thought about having the lower chassis made 3.5mm thick and having the gear box areas milled out to make it super stiff bit i am not sure if the place that will make my chassis is able to mill it.
