Charlie had so much stuff there between his painting and racing I'm surprised that's all he forgot. It took him several "care packages" to get everything he needed to Vegas in the first place.

Hi guys,
spoke this weekend with Scotty in Austria (European Touring Series) and he told me that the date for the IIC 2011 is moved to: 3-8 october 2011!
But I can't find anything about it here on the forum. He told me if he had a Wifi connection in the plane back home, he would post it.
Would come with some friends to Vegas :-) 2009 was my first year and I loved it.
Maybe will Scotty post it this week somewhere on the forum.

i believe that scotty said that he could not afford to hold this race, but was still interested in having a vegas race.

I think after the support of racers and especially the sponsors of the event last year plus the somewhat turn around of On road this season with great turn outs he is working on having it again but later in the year so its more into carpet season. Hopefully he pulls it off as I always look forward to two races a year...This and Snowbirds!

So as the sun sets on the 6th year of the IIC, the talk is... will there be a 7th. As everyone knows the devastating set backs we faced the past 2 years with the theft of all our equipment forced me to decide this would be the final year of the IIC. But after some very encouraging words from our sponsors this year and a few changes we did this year to our system of the IIC, there is a chance that the IIC will continue. We are talking to the hotel to see if we can move the date to October 10-15th which will help move it away from the start of school and be in the heart of indoor season. But there are many issues that need to be worked out on all levels to see if it can happen. I will of course keep everyone up to date as soon as I can and I hope as many of you do, that the IIC can continue. So keep Oct 10-15th 2011 open and if there is a 7th IIC. We hope we can count on all of you for your support.
Thanks to all of you for your support and kind words and I hope that no matter where you finished, be it first or last, you walked away from the IIC with a feeling of that is how a world class race should be run, fun! on time! and with passion!

I saw Scotty at the Reedy Off Road Race a couple weeks back. He said its going to be October 3-8. Lots of detail to work out so no "official" announcement. Just keep that date open.

Scotty told me that I can book my flight + hotel because its now very cheap
