How much of it is "additional" weight though (meaning subtract out the weight required to balance the car left/right).

Josh - I'm sure you are right. Everyone moving motors more towards the center in the latest batch of cars. Xray I would guess will have something new in October as they always do. I think soon it will be good but in the meantime some might have trouble with getting a weight that is too low. Especially if they are using a regular weight body.

I was able to get my tc5 balanced around 1350 and it didn't have the bulkheads to push the motor in. I have to imagine that it is possible with the T3. I have no idea though.

But this thread really isn't for this. This is a very interesting topin IMO. Someone needs to start a new thread.

Its adjustable for any throttle position.
If I was a top tier racer I wouldn't be messing with lights but since I know I'll be back in the pack I'm just having fun. It just looks cool when you lift at the end of the straight and the rear lights come on.

If you've never driven an RC with lights don't knock it. It helps me see where its at and what's it doing.

This year seems unusual in that you have posted very few messages in this thread. What's going on Scotty? How about a status report.

2008 - Race announced 3/31, classes announced 4/29, signup 5/12.

2009 - Race announced 3/1, classes announced 5/10, signup 6/7.

2010 - Race announced 3/19, classes announced ??, signup 6/6.
