anyone know what sevos fi the six pack without drilling? (hopefully KO)

It seems that alot of guys are running the SB12... I have a 12L3 and I would like to use the left clamping hub from the SB12, but when I tried to order one through my LHS, they said that the part is not available... is this a common occurance with parts for the SB12? Or can anyone tell me I can get parts from... who has them in stock?

Thanks, Eric

The Yokomo 1/12th is more or less based on the 12L3 but with the battery location specialized for 4-cell racing.

IMO, 4-cell is the way to go for 1/12th. It’s becoming/has become the international standard for the class.

Would anyone be interested in a Yokomo replica chassis? I've been using a Yokomo 4-cell chassis for the last year or so. I got one imported from Japan and it's the limited release one that Masami & co. used at the 2000 Worlds. The thing is that the front is pretty torn up and it's starting to delaminate a little. CA has been my temporary fix, but in the long run I'm planning on making some copies of the chassis for personal use. If anyone else wants one, it'll make it cheaper for everyone and a whole lot cheaper than importing the new Yokomo car... :p

I'll have to check, but I think I actually have a new SB12 left hub in my store. I'll get back to you on it.

Hey gang, if you are looking for another source for 1/12th scale tires we have both the TRC's and Jaco's in stock. We also have the Cyan tires in 1/12th scale if you are looking for a little more bite.

We also have 1/12th scale bodies, the Protoform Bently and the Parma Speed 8.

Eric, you could also try the hub from IRS. It is part number IRS219 if ruf cannot get you hooked up.

Ahhhhh- it feels great to be home finally.

Kev- thanks for the b-day wish, yesterday was awesome with the family and the Bears game. James, Jucha and myself just finished hanging out for the evening and racing a porshe turbo. Well not really racing it, he jumped on it and I followed. Surprisingly I kept the distance. I think those things have like 400hp to my 340hp. If Jucha had been out cruising when James and i tried this stunt he would have blown all of us out of the water with his newly engined 580hp Stang.

Dave S- Look at some of the recent post where I give the info for WindTunnel Racing and give him a call. By Oktoberfast I would think he may have some of what you're looking for. BTW I plan on coming up on that Tues or so for the race.

Kraig- Cyan Tires?? Are these Magenta"s or some new type of tire and do they have more grip than a Grey? Do they come only in Rear Sets or Fronts also and how much are they?

Raffel- i think the Airtronics and KO servos bolt right in. i use the JR Z3550 and i would have to drill a new hole for it to fit. You could send Frank and e-m and ask and then get the dimensions of the servo from the manufacture's website and compare with other servos.

Stevie- Can't see why but maybe you can try a titanium set of screws for it or a slightly larger set of harder steel screws.

It's a "combo tire" of magenta and purple. It would be used as front tire to get a little more steering than a straight purple.

Sorry man, turns out I don't have it. Just a bunch of other random SB12 stuff.

My manual states that Airtronics, Futaba, JR and Hitec all fit without drilling. No mention of KO, but aren't they all pretty close?

Kraig 08-31-2002 09:47 AM

darnold, Mark pretty much summed it up. They are priced at $16.50 a pair.

4 Cell stock Battery Q: Sanyo or Panasonic

What's best for stock 12th scale 4 cell racing, Sanyo 3000HV or the Panasonic Ultra Metals? What about for mod, or is the answer GoldPeak 3300's? Thanks..

Summer break is over!

Hi Folks!

After the summer break, have to start thinking about that Associated RC12L3 laying arround somewhere :)

@ruf: yes, I would be interested in such yokomo parts, but I would need ALL carbon fibre parts different to the RC12L3, not only the chassis.

Looking at pictures from the 1/12 Worlds it seems Masami didnt use a receiver pack. Is this true? Is it not necessery with the KO receiver and PDS947FET servo?

How do TRC tires compare to Jacos?
@Kraig: do you have TRC tires without rims? Would you ship to europe?
