Does anyone no the name, part number or where to pick one up...trinity does not list it on their website and they are not overly responsive to emails so I figured I would consult a wider audience :-)

Cheers

Don't know if you'll have much luck finding a Trinity Dynamic strut front end. I think you would have better luck trying to fit an Associated front end on it. Although, you'd have to do some drilling to the chassis.

You know what the funny part is I had this front end and a box of spares from an old trinity car and I sold it all on ebay for like 25$ 2yrs ago as I have been running ae cars for a long time.

Murphy law...just when you think that you will never use a part!!

I was thinking of drilling the chassis for ae front end but the rear screw hole would be to close to the edge for durability.

I like the car..well sort of..I finished 6th in the amain at the last triple crown race but I do not think that front end works as good as a strut front end on med or low bite and it is a hassle to adjust..normal tuning quick changes are hassle.

Anybody else have any other suggestions.

The only other thing I can think of is using the Rug Rat chassis with the AE front end and slap on the Reflex rear end. But then you'd have to make your own rear brace to mount the damper tubes.

Yes, I'm running the IRS front end. I just noticed I didn't mention the upper arm mount location... I usually switch it around alot to fine tune the car anyways. As a general rule of thumb, a longer top arm smooths out the steering and the lower mounting positions will help the car rotate little better in the middle of the corner.

Thanks for your setup.
Please clarify where you ballstuds are located on the servo saver.
Outside top, outside middle?

Thanks

Dave - On the Kimbrough mid-size servo saver I am using the lowest holes closest to the servo saver mounting screw. I just cut the excess material off the servo saver... this picture might help:

I don't know, I don't believe in rubber tire racing. It's against my religion:p .

Is it true that Assc. is coming out with a 12L4 soon?

I think Ernie is having a heart attack now...an orion motor in a Trinity car?

Tres 02-26-2004 06:18 AM

dr_hfuhuhurr: V2 motors are great in off-road....

I saw one this weekend that had almost 30 runs on one set of brushes...

It had about the same amount of wear as most of my standard ones with 3 runs them...

Needless to say, the LHS sold out of them as soon as most saw that.

Has any one else been running them in 12th?

dr_hfuhuhurr 02-26-2004 06:22 AM

I've heard they are killer motors. I break enough stuff in stock to even think about mod :)

dontfeelcold 02-26-2004 06:50 AM

a mod motor that lasts like a stock motor.........goody.

I believe you are right. I do not want to compete with other events for entries. I WOULD like to know what weekend in April or May interests you as being ideal for this race, though

That's the current rumor, the prototypes were spotted at the Snowbirds.
