I've created these videos for people who are new to 1/12th and 1/10th touring. Or re-entering the hobby after a length of time, just like you

I'll be doing a video review on a HiroFactory 2015 1/12th scale called the HRF 12X. I'll also be doing a F1 review on the HRF 10X.
I'll do my best to keep the videos coming

I started at a 93.6mm and holy shit the car seemed slow. Granted the timing is way down on the motor currently but it was an absolute turd. I geared up to a 98.96 and it picked up the pace a little but was still over 1.2 seconds off the pace of my 13.5T car (which I run about an 88 rollout in) - which seems like a lot. Our track is not big - 1 60' long straight.
You can get the s9670SV which is the updated version of the S96550 for $40

For those who might be interested in an 1/12th scale for the upcoming indoor season. I'll be doing a product review on a Japanese company called HiroFactory. The designer and owner of Hiro Factory is Hiro Nakatani. He's a very talented and established 1/12th and F1 racer. He and his products are consistently on the podium at regional, national, and international events. His chassis' are worth taking a look at.
The video will be on the HiroFactory 12X '15
Keep any eye out for it in the next couple days.
In the mean time you can check out his website.

Hi Guys,
I have really annoying problem with my sons X12'15. The issue is that the car hooks up and the rear is sliding around. This isn't happening always, but it is really unpredictable. the rearpod is free and not clicking, the front suspension is free and we tried different tires with no real effect. It looked always fine for one or two runs, but the issue came back. I hope that you guys can point me in the right direction.
Thank you

Type everything out in detail. I mean everything
. Including tires, size, saucing time and so on.
the setup is the standard X12'15 setup. with 3.1 - 3.2 right height around.
tire size is 40 - 41 front and 40.5 - 41.5 rear. For the tires we run either Mobgums- margenta or pink front and gold or silver rear. We also run Hotrace 32- 35 front or 30-32 rears. we run at TQ RC Racing and SXT is the only choice of traction compound.
We sauce the tires for 25 minutes rear and 5-10 minutes front.
The Car is really fast, but it isn't predictable right now.

Your kit, as it stands, is kit setup. So if I were to check the manual for your car that will be the setup you're using, right?
Just taking a look at your tires. You're rear tires should be larger than the front.
Usually 1~1.5 mm difference in diameter. This is called stagger. Very rarely , if at all do you run smaller tires in the rear. Should be 41.5 rear and 41 front.
Ride height should be around 3.2~3.4 mm front and rear. You have to careful going lower than that. Chassis can rub the carpet and cause the car to do strange things.
