Im guessing the light rims are the "carbon" black ones right (judging they cost more than the regular white wheels)? I had a set of those and they took quite a bit of abuse. I had a few big crashes and chunked the hell out of the foam but the rim held up fine

Hi, no the black and white rims are much thicker, the pro rims are sort of opaque white.
I like it. It's basically the same as the S9670 but with higher torque and it's programmable. I just don't have the programmer to connect it to the computer to make adjustments so I still use the radio to make adjustments.
It's the nicest servo I've owned so far for 1/12th scale racing. I've owned Savox and Spektrum and they were both good, but the Futaba is so much nicer. My 1/12th scale drives much more precise and consistent around the track. Definitely worth the money.

Great servo.
Hard to say if any esc out there is "the best", but this is certainly very good bang for the buck.

If you are just doing club racing and looking for a good time then this ESC would be more than enough to meet your needs.
I running that ESC on my xray x12 with a 10.5T motor. Rollout is around 72mm and I have around 20% turbo enabled. My motor and ESC are barely warm and I easily get 15 mins of run time out the 5600mah battery.
