hobbyking's booster has worked fine for me, but i have had terrible luck with switches. you need to work out your own switch, but at $5 each you can get several.

In an effort to keep 12th scale racers and followers up to date and in the loop with news and results, the national series will now be covered online.
From the Tamworth national onwards you'll be able to visit pages on Facebook and Twitter to see what's going on if you're not at the meeting!
On the facebook page there will be round by round updates including images of the qualifying lists as well as notable occurrences and things that happen worth mentioning. Following each meeting you'll also be able to see photos, videos and reports from the event.

Twitter will be used in a similar way, but due to its more basic nature it'll be limited to short text updates on the movers and shakers in each round and the finals.

I've never seen the combo used in this application. In the past I've only seen it used in TCs with 2s lipos. I've also read the manual from Speedpassion and it does not detail usage in 1s/4cell at all. Could someone please shed some light into this?
For 1s Lipo, you need receiver battery or booster.
Most of 1/12 Cirtix 17.5 spec racers are using 4s Ni-MH.
Thanks.
It depends on the batteries, 4s is a little bit faster than 1s. But 1s has it's own advantage.
Thanks.

We ran combination with 4 cell and 1S and my 1S was much faster on the straight...

Obviously this is not a problem with mod, where motor winds are unlimited.
