Last year I've driven several races with a brushed 1:12. 4 cell (9 and 7T).
It went very well. This year I’m willing to go for brushless.
I’ve got a TC spec in my TC. But that’s really NOT gonna fit in a 1:12. :D
So I’m looking for a new Brushless Speedo for my CRC Gen X.
I cant make up which one I should choose:

LRP Sphere Competition 2007 (80700)

Nosram Matrix Evo 2007 (90700)

I know that both ESC compare to each other, bot I’m not sure I’m really taking the right one. So I just wanted to ask some of you guys. Which one do you prefer, and most of all.. Why?

Greetings from The Netherlands,

Robert

Well the LRP and Nosram are the same thing but different colors, so it's up to you what color you want. You could wait for the Tekin but god only knows how long you will be waiting. I have never had a problem with Novaks ESC's, if it were me I would go with the GTB 4 cell (spread spektrum if you run 2.4gig). LRP's customer service and return time on repairs has really gone downhill, I am unsure about getting Novak repaired in Europe, but I belive there is a place that does it over there, Novak has always had great customer service and turn around time on repairs.

Hey Guys, another tire question! What are the advantage or disadvantages of 2 stage tires on asphalt? What's the theory of this type of tire? I'm a newbie ( a 58 year old and slow newbie ) but I've learned a lot from your input on this thread. Thanks!

Hey guys, I took some shots of the cars filling up the a-mains at nat's. The grip has been supper high at SIR, so you may see some things you may not ordinarly see on an asphalt car. I'll let you be the judge.

Blackstock's 19t Cyrul car
Kuney's MS2.3
My pair: MS2.3 & MS2.3 rack car

Hey all, I was wondering if it is more consistant to use tweak screws or a setup like the T-force with springs

SlowerOne 07-15-2007 02:39 AM

Brian,

Can you confirm what front reactive blocks are being used - it looks suspisciously like 5deg or 0deg in some cases. Why's that? Hope you can help.

And how is protc3 doing with his car?

protc3 07-15-2007 04:31 AM

i didnt get to go to the nats.i wish i did though.the track looks sweet

protc3 07-15-2007 04:32 AM

jay bee told me they are changing to 0 degree blocks. i doubt blackstock has but apparently the rest of the guys are.

protc3 07-15-2007 04:38 AM

SlowerOne 07-15-2007 06:42 AM

Sorry - double post!!

SlowerOne 07-15-2007 06:43 AM

Thanks for the info Jason - why would they go to 0deg blocks? What's your theory?

Can't wait to see the car, Jason. Still hoping I'm high fourth on that list for despatch!! Somehow I just know it's going to be worth the wait!

CarlosG. 07-15-2007 07:54 AM

The reason I heard was that traction was very high and the car would tend to dig in hard or spin out.
