Probably see ya next Saturday.

My 19T motor started to die about 4 laps from the end. That comm was cut to the max. Gonna miss that motor. Thinking that 19T would go better with another Rev 4. ;)

Bill

The Rev 4 is a barnburner with any motor in it on the rug. I would like to stiffen up my 19T car a little, it was pitching in the slow corners a little.

Crashby turned some really fast laps over the weekend; but, got tangled up a few times in the races.

Not a typical weekend for him...

Crashby was doing single laps like you would not believe. Could not keep it going for 8 minutes though.... or even 2 minutes

Totally off topic but what do you think of your JRXS compared to your RDX? I'll probably pick up a new TC after the newyear and those are two of the main contenders.

I'll still race 1/12th whenever possible. Just want a car in case not enough guys show up for 1/12th, if I ever feeling like running two classes, if I ever want to race on Sun., and for Novak next year. :sneaky: See you Tues. man :)

new crc pro cuts

I noticed that the new CRC pro cuts can use flanged or unflanged bearings for the fronts. Any benefit to using one over the other. I'm guessing that using unflanged might require a bit more shimming.

This isnt Ike  , but it has been on the low side lately. For a while we have had about 5 or so weekly, and lately there have been about 3 or so. A few people are buying 12th scales around out area so the number should be growing, but as long as there are 3(well 2 in the case of last tuesday0 there still will be a class.

Ike: I know what you mean. Part of me wants to race my yok SD but then I need a new servo esc reciever, betteries, etc. I couldnt see myself spending that much money right now mainly because it is nonexistant

Well that kinda sucks, Hopefully it picks up. Thats the whole reason I bought it so I could come and play when it is 20 below out. Its really hard to drive a nitro sedan in the snow.

Have you ever run 1/12th before?

GrandeGixxer 12-18-2005 08:32 PM

I have been driving it here at a local carpet track that is pretty new and kinda bumpy. I can hang with the 19t sedans. It is definatly a twitchy little bastard but I think I am figuring it out. It is nice to have batteries that alow you to run a 15 minute practice run. It is a fun car to drive. I have more fun with it than I do my gas car.

Switch Blade 12-18-2005 08:36 PM

eh who cares about 19 turn, we should just drop in 7 turns and see who can last at least 5 minutes
