mini-dub you ever messed with raising the rear ball stud on the hub? Any opinions on what that has done for your car?

Thanks
Brian

Wyd - It should make your car rotate more. Note that you can add up to 1mm but you WILL have to remove material from the top of the ball cup so it dosent contact the rim.

Adrian did you run the rear tower mod or just a stock one? Also what did you run for roll center shims. I am just running the riser plates now.

After watching him for a few laps I got the times down so he was ONLY half a sec per lap faster than me....

Adrian was it mostly because his braking and acceleration points were different or what?

Yeah, here's what I've found on the Mi2(EC). The raised outer stud gives a similar feel to me of a short link. The car transitions really well, and has good initial traction but can break free harder and will be less controllable. It also rotates harder link Adrian said, but where I find this is most noticable is exiting the corner. You should have much more onthrottle steering, but then the opposite goes for off throttle until you make a hard move and it breaks free. Make sense? People should remember that my setup knowledge is mainly for setting up a rubber tire car. Some of the stuff is consistant when you switch to foam tires but many things between setting up a foam and rubber car seem to be opposite as we found at the Novak .

yeah my theory of a Schumacher car on foam tires is that it's just frikkan wierd man....LOL I compare it to a Losi buggy. You have to do stuff to the car that you know just isnt going to work.....but it does.

Haha exactly. I can get my car dialed at my home carpet track, but freakin any other track it just never seems to work. Even when its the same carpet and compound , I think thats more just my ability to setup a dialed foam car .
