PW: what's your take on using the lower towers for outdoor asphalt? would like to hear a pro's opinion on the matter. if i do opt to try the lowered towers will i have problems with the stock shocks? will i need to do any mods like shorten my shocks or have to use tamiya shocks or somthing like that? what gains can i expext handling wise?

It's been a little while but I'll be okay when I do. 19 turn picked up so that's what we all went with. The Reedy race or a club race shortly after that may have been the last time. The MI2 has got to be easier to run mod foam than the XXXS was so who knows.....it might happen some time in December when I race again. We can't have all the Schuie's in the same class so I'm took one for the team and ran the rubber tire class.

Default Instruction Manual - Mission

All right. After b&*hing to those guys in Tampa till i'm blue in the face i've taken it upon myself to get this done so here you have it:

Mission Instruction manual in word and pdf format:

Please note that page 3 is missing from both formats. This is not my fault. I have all the pages included @ racing-cars.com so you may want to talk to them. Please let me know if you find any other issues with the documents.

Ooooops I'm sorry: I cant upload word documents. Just know that i have it in case you need it.

IslandBwoy - We do not administer the website so we can't fix anything on it. All we can do is send email to our webmaster, Chris Ashton. We have sent emails and called him about your issue. We are constantly bombarding him with requests for new pages, news letters, web sale pages so I think the bad links you talked about have unfortunatly gotten pushed to the back burner repeatedly.

I use the lower/carpet towers for everything for a couple of reasons:

1. So I can use the same length shocks carpet or asphalt
2. The mounting of the body can be much lower
3. They look WAY better on the car

Changing to the carpet towers with stock shocks:

1. Will need to shorten the shocks a total of 4mm (2mm on the shaft and 2mm on the ball-cup) Over-all length should be between 61.5mm and 63.5mm
2. The shock holes on the carpet towers also work out to be around a half a hole further out than the stock towers

I will not be going to Cleveland this year...Family time

There will be a few schumacher racers there and they should have spares.

Thanks, I have been waiting over a month for my parts to show up at my LHS. Still not hear though. I'm pretty convinsed that its the shops fault not Schumacher. Since I haven't had much test time, I have a feeling that I'll be breaking stuff.
