Adam - We had a guy that had a problem like yours at our last state race. His car would spin out in one direction and the tweak was hard to set right. Turned out he had a head on collision at full speed the week before and something happened to his lower chassis. If you have had a really hard crash you may have torn/shattered some fibers deep inside the lower chassis and this may be the problem. He replaced the lower chassis and the car was perfect again.

When is look at some of your cars i see that you are running an other carbon fibre strip. Or is it just the normal one without the curved part?

Chris P - Trust you to have a car that bright!! Gav is right though, blue spacers is not a good look.
It was a shame about the gearbox housings, they did look nicer, but hey i've got a set on my car and they're staying there
Gav - those plates we were talking about the other night, not good if you want to go higher than 1mm. Kills the droop apparantly.
Has anyone out there tried the diff with only 6 balls in?? I am trying to get some rotional mass out of the car and this seemed like an easy way to get rid of some.
Arjen - Personally i sue the std battery bar, just with the top spine taken out.

Raul, I see your suggestions. Get rid of rubber? LOL. Actually I plan to use this as my foam car, but see my comment to Ottoman as to why I ran rubber.
Paul, I'll pick up a new body this afternoon. Have you tried the Parma Alfa yet? I was thinking about that and the Protoform Alfa. I really didn't care for the 6 the few times I ran it. I thought it had too much push from the middle of the corner out.

Yeah it is, but they can come out i guess if you have a big impact.
Adrian is correct that as it comes it is a good solution. It's kind of funny why i started running without it. When i had an Mi2 proto car, i got it without a strap, so had to use one of my own mission ones. However the strap is actually "upside down" compared to the mission, so i had to pop the spine out - and hence have never bothered running it since!!
btw, Chris P - just noticed that your car hasn't got purple Alloy nuts. Shocking

Last race i saw my weight of my MI2 and that was extremely much(1574). So i am looking for some things to get the weight much lower. But i don't want to spent 200 euro on it.
I saw that the steel driveshafts are 8 gramm each heavier than the plastic ones so i put my plastic ones back on the rear.
My equipment:
Sanwa digital fet servo
sanwa rx 311
GP 3300sp team batteries
revolution 12 turns
Lrp quantum 2
I run now 4 steel driveshafts
alloy castor/front,rear hubs.

rear alloy pivot blocks.

Arjan, Not sure how your car is that heavy. Mine is about 120g lighter than that.

ti driveshafts are 10 gram per piece lighter than steel.
So that would be 20 gramm but 1574-20 is still 1554.
and 54 gramm is not just a couple of ti srews and turnbuckles i think?
What i also saw that there is an Carbon fibre battery tray and on mine carbon fibre car is an kind of s1 one wich was in the box.
I am running the standard carbon plates.

yes, there is a carbon tray, but my car was underweight with the std one on as well.
My rear driveshafts are plastic. There are 4 pairs of Ti Hinge pins, and the same of turnbuckles. I also have Ti Ball studs. Not sure if this would all add up to enough.
