The Schu shocks work just as well as the Tam shocks but are a little more work to get toghter. The Tam shocks are a slap them together in 5 minutes and they are perfect type deal.

We will have some all new shocks coming this October for the Worlds. They are an all new design for us and in testing are very good. PW and AC will have some prototypes in a few weeks. If they are as good as the testing is showing you will probably see our shocks on everyone elses cars this fall
Thanks Adrain. I use to always use the Schumacher shocks on my cars when I ran for Schumacher. They were a little more work but they did work fine. I use to really like those really small shocks they use to sell. I ran them on my 98 and 99 cars was dialed on carpet and asphalt with them.

Adrian or Paul...I got the Alloy Inboard Pivot blocks (U2742) for the rear, to get the rear toe of about 2 deg...was wondering if there is a benefit to running them up front. I noticed on a pic of Paul's car he is running them front and rear. The setup sheet I got from Adrian doesnt mention them up front, but it does show the rear toe at 2 deg...

And they do look bling bling in purple....

Also, if the new shocks are going to be all that and a bag o chips, is there a waiting list??

Are the upper shock mounts I saw in the June or July Newsletter avail in the US yet?

Thanks...Mark

Not really any hop-ups you NEED to get, including the Tamiya shocks. There is no performance difference and the new Schumacher shocks will be out in a couple months or so. The lowered carpet shock towers are the only things that I would say actually gives a performace upgrade. Most of the purple alloy stuff is just cool looking. The new adjustable alloy rear hubs should be pretty good though. My car is pretty much stock with the lower towers.

Chazz - You really dont need to add anything to the kit. If you gotta have the Tam Shocks then get the lower front and rear shock towers. Thats it...

Mark - The alloy blocks in the rear give you 2deg to. Up front they just look cool and thats about all they do.

No waiting list yet.

Shock mounts are on order and will be here in a couple of weeks.

Default Car Pic

Here a pic of my Mi2 with my new Keyence Rapidia and the new Alloy rear hubs. The new hubs look sweet. Can't wait to try them and the new speedo on the track.

John - It will have no effect on the car. The first proto of the Mi2 has just a huge rectangular hole under the tray. The spars are there to keep from breaking the outer part of the chassis if you get t-boned or slide sideways hard into something.
