Thanks all for the replies.

Adrian, I live in Calgary, Canada, so not really near the British Isles.
It's REALLY dry here, wondered if that might make a difference, makes the track dusty....

I was running mod, so no drag brake.

I love the turn in and bite the car has I would hate to lose any of that.

Yes, I used the exact same setup in both classes. The only change is my neutral setting for throttle and of course gearing

Thanks PW. I'm going try your set-up at Hesperia track. Has a lot of traction but the track temp gets really hot. Had a hard time with on power steering(pushed) with my set-up. The only way I could get steering was go stiff springs. Didn't really like the feel though.

Hey Fartwright- Let me know for sure. I should be there that weekend also. I'll be there tomorrow and Sunday and probably the same next weekend. Let me know, I'll set up a room.

Hi, What do you mean by changing 'neutral setting' for different classes.
Thanks

adyb....I give my throttle trim a couple clicks forward to reduce "engine braking" when I let off the throttle.

And yes, I do let off the throttle sometimes....

When I run 19 turn or stock, I set my throttle trim so at neutral it going at about a slightly quick walking pace. This makes it "coast" better coming in the corner so the rear end doesn't kick out off power.

Is the aerial from the reciever touching the chassis if so maybe put some bluetak on the chassis were the wire is touching and you could use two pieces of servo tape on the bottom of the reciever as well. Are all the wires neat and tidy if not use tie-raps to make them tidy. That should be ok, if not i don't know
