cool thanks RacerX! I was running about 3mm f/r, but the car felt weird so I backed it off to 2mm and its great again.....

My problem was turning to the right it was coming around but to the left it was planted! I totally fixed the problem on those new IRS 4 digital scales for each tire. I highly reccomend using that instead of a tweak board! Only thing is its about 300 bucks! lol

well after a break from R/C racing for a while I am back. What has been new with the schuie's I hope my Axis 2 will still kick butt.

What can people tell me about this new CS speedo? I am in need of a new one and was thinking about getting an LRP7.1

any new tricks with set-up that one should be aware of? a lot of information prob got lost when RCTouring went down.

PS has the schuie webpage changed?

Paul: Your A2 should still kick butt. I can't tell you anything about the CS stuff other than it can be hard to get at times. Most people are using either the LRP Quantum or 7.1, , Novak TC, or the Keyence Zero Extreme ESCs right now. In the next post I'll put my current setup...

My current setup:

Asphalt board track, high bite and smooth

Ft and rear: 70wt, 2hole, red spring, center hole on shock tower, inner hole on arm, in line hub, 1.5 camber, lower bulkhead mounts.

Ft: 10d camber, rear steering holes, C/F chassis (lowered front end), 2mm droop, diff one way

Rear: 2d rear toe, raised C/F rear end, 2mm droop.

Thank you for the help with the set-up that sounds about the same as I had before I took a break. what tires are you using? I have heard that 138G's are still god and that Sorex are good as well, but were mostly for carpet.

I have the one way diff, but have never tried it. What applications would it be for carpet?Pavement? sweeping tracks or tight tracks.

These questions should help you get that post count back up

does anyone have the part number for the ABS layshaft? I snapped the spur gear off last time out on carpet.

The Sorex 36 with HPI inserts (red for above 85, green for 95, blue for 110) are the best tire out bar none. They don't fall off after the first run and they LAST. The Sorex 28s are for carpet.

One ways give more steering, especially turn in, on high bite tracks and carpet. In either situation, I wouldn't race without one as the car will get through the corner faster than with a conventional diff.

Last weekend, I used 36s w/ HPI green inserts during the day, 32s w/ Yok firms (an old set that I've had for about a year and hardly used) after the sun went down. Usually, I just keep running the 36s but it takes like three laps to heat up the tires and five before they are all the way up to temp.

Paulp, that part nuber that Racer X quoted is the slipper clutch with one-way roller. This isn't the abs.

The ABS shaft part number is U2142T - including the collar and pin.

I have 3 CS Rocket MAX's. Can't compare them to 7.1/Quantum but i have been impressed with them and haven't had any problems at all.

Oops, my bad. I was looking up the part number on a master parts list. It just said 'layshaft - one way'

again thank you with the help. I think I will start out with the one way diff in to see how I like it. Our indoor track size is 72x36 makes it a little tight sometimes especially when they set up a 1/12 scale track.

thank you for the part # on the abs layshaft also re the info with the CS max I have been thinking hard about getting one.

Only headache is I live in Canada and getting them could be a headache. Shipping direct from Schumacher sometimes is a worse headache with customs/duty etc Yet it would be the same headache if I mailordered anything from the US.
