Last call for tamale's upgrade kit.....

Here is an email i sent out to those interested.....shoot me a PM if you are interested....

Ok, it looks like we are going to get a decent run on all of these upgrades. After seeing all the emails the past few days, I think we are going to make a “Rubber Tire version” and a “Foam Version” in order for everyone to be able to get the camber gain they need. So with that said, this is what will be included (as of today ) with the kits.

Foam Version
- (4) 4mm camber links
- (4) Hinge pins
- (4) HPI balls
- (4) HPI Cups
- (4) 14mm button head screws (to capture HPI balls)
- (4) lower pivot blocks (we are going to use stock upper pivot blocks)
- (4) 3x3 grub screws for Hinge pins

Rubber Version
- (4) 2mm camber links (ONLY THING DIFFERENT)
- (4) Hinge pins
- 4 HPI balls
- 4 HPI Cups
- (4) 14mm button head screws (to capture HPI balls)
- 4 lower pivot blocks
- (4) 3x3 grub screws for Hinge pins

After much thought, this run is going to be anodized purple to match our stock parts. Also, the pic marker posted on rctech shows that the camber mounts are countersunk for the screws, this set will not be countersunk, we will just have button head screws.

We are only making the lower pivot blocks instead of the upper for a few reasons:
- The lowers are needed in order to house our new longer hinge pin
- The pins are longer so we can capture more pin inside the block

A few have you have asked me to not anodize yours, but this is what I am needing from everyone at the moment.

# of Sets you want
Rubber or Carpet Version
Andodized purple, or leave silver?

Cost is still going to be around the $100 mark, but as I get prices for everything else, and as the time gets closer, I will get you a firm dollar amount.

Thanks again guys. This is not a money maker at all. I am just trying to beef up our cars and make the Mi3 as durable as anything out on the market.

I want to do 10.5 bad but dont want to invest in another setup. So I guess it will be 13.5 and brushed stock if that still exist.

what you can do is take that brushed motor and use it as a fishing weight or paper weight or see how far you can throw it at Lake Eola

bought a set last night, first run, super stuck, (practice) second run stuck and traction rolling, third run CA'd the outter edge still stuck, fourth run, gearing change, fastest run of the night, fifth run, another gearing change, still fast.

this was using a Mi3 using the lastest asphalt setup that comes as a extra sheet in the box and was also on carpet at SIR using a SP 5.5. i was messing with different setups on the SP GT esc so not all runs were on the same lap times, i was also learning braking zones and such as i'm pretty new to mod - rubber - on carpet. the tires still have a little bit of the center line showing.

Now, for those of us that don't know (me), if you'd had the option, could you have run the same tire with a thicker insert to get less tire roll in corners, and stopped the traction rolling that way, or am I guessing wrong as usual?

Hey guys, will the SMC 5000 lipo fit in the MI3 without the bellcrank bumping the front inside corner of the lipo pack?

I just hope the lipo will fit without any issues. I know for sure I have to grind 1mm off the bulkheads.

You'll have better balance if you leave it out from under the bulkheads.

Hang it about 3mm off the edge of the chassis and you'll have great balance.
